Ace Court Surfacing wants everyone to be able to use acecourtsurfacing.com.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard; there’s a “skip to content” link and visible focus outlines.
- Text and background colors were checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Moving effects respect your device’s reduced-motion setting: the light on the opening court becomes a still image, the loading animation is skipped, and scroll effects show their finished state.
- A “Pause motion” button at the bottom of every page stops anything that moves on its own (the light on the opening court, the scrolling quote banner, the map marker), and the site remembers the choice.
- Every form field has a label, and error messages are tied to the field they describe.
- Before/after images have text alternatives, and a button shows the whole “after” image for anyone who can’t hover or drag.
